Secondary School
As children grow older and move towards adulthood, they begin to reflect on questions such as: “Who am I?”, “Who do I want to be?”, and “Who do others expect me to be?”
Their preferences, needs, thoughts, and interactions with the world gradually change. Significant changes occur in their bodies, and they develop a tendency to distance themselves from adults, adopting a challenging and exploratory stance. Through this process, they establish their own identity and a sense of belonging to the peer group they are forming independently of their family.
In short, this is a crucial stage of growth in which family and school must work together, observing each child attentively in order to provide emotional support. Doing so promotes a healthy, calm, safe, and solid learning environment.
